2007 Dragon Powerboat, a 39 foot open cockpit monohull powerboat built by Doug Wright for Dragon Powerboats in the US. Eligible for the CARIB GREAT RACE in the 95mph class, has a 1st and 2nd class finish's to it's credit. Also makes a great sport boat for pleasure and a day DDI, with a full seven seat cockpit and has a Bimini top as well, that can be put on when using for pleasure. Twin staggered Mercury racing supercharged engines, totally rebuilt top to bottom in July 2013, only 14 hours on motors since rebuild. Boat was re rigged as well with all new large bore water hose, new large capacity S/S sea strainers, new fuel hoses, intercooler hoses / plumbing and new headers / tailpipes on stb motor. Two sets of engine ECM's, one for race setting on 91 octane fuel producing 800 bhp and one for pleasure use on 87 octane fuel at 678 bhp. Dyno sheets availible to confirm engine output after rebuilds for both setups. $50,000 US was spent on the motors and re-rig in July 2013, this boat will run 100 mph #6 Mercury Speedmaster dry sump drives, hydraulic transmissions, along with 6 blade Herring race/pleasure props and spare set of Mercury props for pleasure.
